BRIDGE THE GAP AMBASSADORS
Equality for All is Equality for One
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
We echo MLK’s inspirational statement,
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
We believe that racial reconciliation and equality can be attained without rancor or prejudice against any other race. Equality for all is equality for one.
The Bridge-the-Gap (BTG) Initiative is designed to bridge the racial gap in all sectors of public and private life in Alaska. The mission of the BTG initiative is to interface with the public and private sectors to identify areas of racial inequality and take adequate action to remedy such anomalies while empowering the BIPOC community through capacity building to harness new opportunities.
Bridge the Gap Ambassadors are a network of like minded people coming together to brainstorm and proffer positive, healthy ways to facilitate racial reconciliation and equality in Alaska. A few ambassadors from these meetings will make up a delegation of leaders who will meet directly with the governor at various round table meetings throughout the year. Sign up today to become a BTG Ambassador and participate in future BTG Ambassador meetings.
