Dearly Beloved,

As I listen to the news surrounding the situation in Afghanistan, I am deeply disheartened and moved with compassion towards the Americans and allies left behind enemy lines. I am also deeply concerned about the fate of Afghan Christians, churches, missionaries, women, and children under a Taliban regime.
​
These thoughts are so horrifying particularly in a situation where it seems that, individually, we are each unable to render help due to the prevailing political and military landscape.
​
But, we can PRAY! We can PRAY for the most vulnerable in the world right now!! We can PRAY for those at risk of losing their lives at any moment if God does not intervene!!!
​
Therefore, in lieu of the previously scheduled Revive Alaska Unity/Racial Reconciliation Prayer Rally this weekend, we are calling all Christians across Alaska to join us in a 2-day Zoom prayer for Afghanistan Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd at 7 pm daily.

This prayer gathering will be a compassionate intercessory prayer. To generate a personal burden within you before the prayer gatherings, please, find time to listen to the news and research the internet about the possible predicament facing those left behind, Afghan Christians, churches, missionaries, women, and children.
