Tuesday 7th:

Pray that no one will be a hypocrite or religious within this season.

"Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward…” Matt 6:16-18.

"…Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free…” Isaiah 58:3-10.

Dangers of hypocrisy - Josh 7:6-14

1. It affects the whole body 2. It is fatal to the hypocrite.

  • Let’s thank God. Thank Him for each participant and everyone’s dedication to seek God’s face for revival in Alaska.

  • Let’s pray that no participant in this prayer and fasting, shall fast like a hypocrite as Jesus describes in Matt 6:16-18.

  • Let’s pray that as we fast, we would each fast with sincerity of heart, not for outward show or to be pleasers of men, but pleasers of God.

  • Let's pray that we would follow Isaiah 58:3-10 and loose the bonds of wickedness. To undo the heavy burdens and to let the oppressed go free. Let’s pray with compassion for souls in our hearts, the love of God and passion to see a revival in Alaska.

  • Let’s pray against the spirit of Achan or Judas in our midst. Let’s pray for the unity of spirit and singleness of purpose among all participants. Let’s pray.

  • Let’s pray for souls to be added to God’s Family Church

Wednesday 8th:

Pray for total surrender to the lordship of Jesus Christ and the will of God at personal and corporate levels.

“He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will."Matt 26:36-39.

“…As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, "Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." Acts 13:1-3.

  • Let’s thank God. Thank Him for giving each participant the opportunity to come under Jesus’ lordship through repentance and total submission of their lives and churches.

  • Let's pray and ask God to remove any and all pride, or personality traits that are keeping participants from putting Jesus on the throne of our hearts.

  • Let’s pray that we will not withhold any area of our lives from the Lordship of Jesus Christ, that He would have His way in us to do according to His will. Let's pray that every participant will humble themselves and seek to align their will with God's will.

  • Let us pray for God’s daily grace to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus wholly and completely without withholding anything – including our life from Him.

  • Let's pray for every participant to dethrone themselves as lord over their lives and ask God to come in and sit on the throne of their lives.

  • Let’s pray that God would be Lord over God’s Family Missionary Movement

Thursday 19th:

Pray for willingness to take practical steps towards consecration and for a transforming experience for everyone.

“… let everyone turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands. Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish…” Jonah 3:5-10; Dan 1:8-21.

  • Prayer of Thanksgiving

  • Let’s pray that the Holy Spirit would make it easy to take practical steps towards consecration; for the Bible says, ‘come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest’.

  • Let’s pray against all stubbornness to follow the practical steps given to us by the Holy Spirit that lead to consecration, that we may each experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit during this fast.

  • Let’s pray that we would take practical and intentional steps to consecrate and allow the power of the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts, minds, and every area of our lives. Let’s pray that after this time of fasting and praying, we will reap a harvest and our lives will never remain the same.

  • Let’s pray for growth and expansion of God’s Family Church Alaska

Friday 10th:

Pray that God will open your eyes to specific things to put away in your life.

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chron. 7:14.

"Then God said to Jacob, "Arise, go up to Bethel and dwell there; and make an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from the face of Esau your brother."  And Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, "Put away the foreign gods that are among you, purify yourselves, and change your garments." Genesis 35:1-2.

Hidden sins/idolatry

Now Laban had gone to shear his sheep, and Rachel had stolen the household idols that were her father's.Gen 31:17-19

1. Hiding sins – Gen 3:8-10, John 3:19-20, Josh 7:20-21.

2. Living in denial – I didn’t do it – Matt. 26:20-25

3. Lying to cover up sin - Gen 31:30-38

4. Self-protectiveness - Gen 3:9-12. Blaming others and the society or even God.

  • Thanksgiving: Let’s thank God for more of His grace throughout this period of fasting and prayer.

  • Prayer of Repentance (Nehemiah 1:4-9). When Nehemiah repented of the sins of his people, God gave him favor to restore the walls of Jerusalem and the wisdom and leadership to mobilize the people to complete the task. Because of Nehemiah’s willingness to repent, God released the Israelites from captivity to return to their land, so let us repent on behalf of the Body of Christ in the State of Alaska for complacency and lukewarmness. Pray that the Lord will wash away every sin and heal our land and release our State from this bondage.

  • Prayer for Integrity: Let’s pray that as we come to God with an open heart and mind in all humility that He would help us to take an honest look inward. Let’s pray that we would stop blaming others for and/or justifying the hurts, trauma’s or sin in our lives and that we would be quick to repent and let God cleanse us of all unrighteousness.

  • Prayer for Transparency (Zechariah 3:1-5): Let’s pray that the Holy Spirit will illuminate specific areas of sin in our lives, whether in thought, word, habit, or deed, that the enemy would have no place to gain a foothold in our lives. Let's pray that when God shows us things we need to put away form our lives, that we will be willing and obedient to do so no matter how difficult.

  • Prayer for Boldness: Let us boldly pray that we would be willing to let go of our secrets, those things we have been ashamed of from the past and are still holding us back, whether the pain of trauma or the shame of doing wrong in the sight of God.

  • Prayer for Personal / Corporate Responsibility (1 John 1:6-10): Let's pray that all believers would take responsibility for their sin and ask God for help to get rid of sin out their lives.

  • Prayer for God’s Family Missionary Movement: Let’s thank God for the umbrella ministry God’s Family Missionary Movement. Let’s ask him to bless the ministry spiritually, physically and otherwise.

Saturday 11th:

Pray for right motive and right spirit upon everyone participating in the GAP program.

“You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures…” James 4:1-10.

“I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted." Luke 18:9-14.

“You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity." Then Simon answered and said, "Pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken may come upon me."’ Acts 8:18-24.

  • Prayer of Thanksgiving: Let’s thank God. Thank Him for the Holy Spirit to anoint every participant with the right spirit as we move forward this next week. Let’s thank Him that each day we would be mindful to ensure our motives are right before the Lord as we are being transformed through this fast.

  • Lamentations 3:40 Let us search and examine our ways, And turn back to the Lord. Lets pray the Holy Spirit would help us search and examine our ways so that we would leave all wrong motives and wrong spirit behind.

  • 1 Peter 2:1 Let’s pray the Lord help us put away all malice, deceit and hypocrisy, envy and slander. Like a newborn, help us desire the pure spiritual milk that we may grow up into salvation. Let’s pray for God to forgive us of all our iniquities, heal all our diseases, redeem us from destruction, and crown us with His loving-kindness and tender mercies.

  • Let's pray for every participant to have the right mindset and the strength to overcome their flesh in participating in the prayer and fasting. Let’s pray that we will remember why we are taking time to fast and pray, realizing what is at stake in Alaska and that we might maintain the right motives, attitude, and spirit.

  • Let’s pray that God would touch people to give to the Building Fund
