Week 6: Thanksgiving and Prayer for the success of the Prayer Conference.

Updated: Feb 3, 2020

Prayer Focus: Thanking God for answered prayers and praying for the success of the Revive Alaska Prayer Conference.

Col 4:2-3

“Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.”

Ps. 69:30

“I will praise the name of God with a song, and magnify Him with thanksgiving.”

Ps. 100

“Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.”

Monday 3rd – Prayer of Thanksgiving.

Ps. 95:1-6

Oh, come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God And the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land. Oh, come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker.

  • Let’s thank God for the strategy He has given to us that has caused the hearts of believers and spiritual leaders all over Alaska to join in on the prayer and fasting and the Friday Prayer Gatherings.

  • Let’s thank God for every person, spiritual leader, and church that received the vision of the Revive Alaska Mandate and made the decision to do their part in helping to bring revival to Alaska.

  • Let's thank God for the Holy Spirit’s guidance and help in igniting hearts for unity, transformation, and revival in Alaska.

  • Let’s thank God for the Revive Alaska Prayer Conference. Let’s thank Him in advance for unity amongst all believers, spiritual leaders, and churches that will be in attendance and for a powerful move of the Holy Spirit.

  • Let’s thank God for keeping the ministry of God’s Family all these years. Let’s also thank Him for keeping us through this fast.

Tuesday 4th – Thank God for every answered prayer.

Ps. 69:30

“I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.”

Psalm 107:8-9

“Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness.”

  • Let’s thank God He is worthy of all our praise. Let’s thank Him for every prayer that has been answered so far and those that have yet to manifest.

  • Let’s thank God with a heart of gratitude for His grace given to everyone who participated in the GAP Prayer and Fasting. Let’s thank Him for all the favor He has given us with all the spiritual leaders and churches in Alaska.

  • Let's thank God for the tangible evidence that He has shown us to see spiritual leaders mobilized to evangelize and reach hearts in Alaska.

  • Let’s thank God for the Revive Alaska Prayer Conference and for every believer and spiritual leader that has committed to pray for Alaska.

  • Let’s thank God for all the ministries that are connected with God’s Family.

Wednesday 5th – Pray for the planning and success of the Prayer Conference.

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.’

Psalm 20:4

May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your purpose.

  • Let's pray for productive, stress-free planning, and set up for the conference. Let’s pray that everything will be done with a spirit of excellence and in one accord.

  • Let’s come against any hindrances to the planning and success of the prayer conference. Let’s pray that there will be no interruptions with the electronic equipment, mics, that everyone will be there on time, and there will be no arguments or distractions throughout the conference.

  • Let’s come against all anxiety and fear. Let’s ask God for the grace to operate in contentment and peace and for each person to operate out of the Spirit and not out of the flesh.

  • Let pray for the prayer conference. Let’s pray that this conference will be the most successful prayer conference this state has ever seen and it will accomplish everything the Lord has ordained it to be.

  • Let’s pray for a refilling of strength for every leader in God’s Family in preparation for the work of the Prayer Conference.

Thursday 6th – Pray for all believers, churches, and spiritual leaders to unite under the spirit of unity for revival in Alaska.

Ps. 133:1-3

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing-Life forevermore.”

Hebrews 10:24-25

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”

  • Ephesians 4:11-16 Let’s pray that all believers, spiritual leaders, and churches in Alaska will gain the consciousness that we are all one body with many members and diversity of gifts and offices and that we all supply a need to the body of Christ.

  • Let’s come against every barrier between believers, churches, and spiritual leaders in Alaska. Let’s declare that there will no longer be denominational, racial, economic barriers, in Alaska.

  • Let's pray that all Christians would no longer keep records of wrong, that offenses would be forgiven, and reconciliation would be sought out amongst all who are in Christ in Alaska.

  • We know that it is God’s will for there to be unity amongst the brethren in Christ. Let’s pray for healing and restoration to occur between all Christians in Alaska; For where there is unity, God commands the blessing.

  • Let’s pray for a higher level of love and unity to be among members of God’s Family.

Friday 7th – Prayer for unity in the Body of Christ.

I Corinthians 12:12-14

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.

  • Let’s repent and ask God for forgiveness regarding all the disunity and hypocrisy that has happened in this State.

  • Let’s ask for forgiveness for all the racial and denominational barriers that have been put up in this State. Let’s pray.

  • Let’s as for forgiveness for all the pain and trauma that has been inflicted on the Native Alaskans.

  • Let’s pray for unity among the Christians to grow across the State.

  • Let’s pray for Revival to come to the State of Alaska
