INTERCESSION FOR CHURCHES AND CHURCH LEADERSHIP IN ALASKA



Opening Scriptures:


John 17:20-23

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one; I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”


Ephesians 4:8-13

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”


Monday 20th - Prayer for Church leadership and the Church in Alaska.


Ephesians 4:8-13

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”


Exodus 18:21

“Moreover, you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.”

  • Let's pray that every church leader will understand its own unique purpose and mandate given by God for the training and equipping of the saints in Alaska and ask the Holy Spirit for direction and guidance

  • 2 Corinthians 10:12 Let’s come against every spirit of competition and comparison among churches, church leaders, church leadership, and congregants in Alaska.

  • Acts 13:2-3 Let's pray for the Holy Spirit to give wisdom and insight to church leaders on selecting those within their congregation who have the character and humility to be trained for leadership roles within the ministry.

  • Let’s pray for the leader of God’s Family Missionary Movement, Let’s pray for Apostle Prince


Tuesday 21st - Pray for all spiritual leaders and ministers of the gospel in Alaska to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.


Acts 1:8

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”


Acts 4:29-31

“Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”

  • Let's pray that all spiritual leaders and ministers in Alaska would be filled with power and boldness to preach the gospel without compromise and stand firm on the truth of God’s word.

  • Let’s pray for every believer in Alaska to receive the power of the Holy Spirit and become anointed witnesses for effective evangelism in Alaska.

  • Let's pray for the Holy Spirit to move like a mighty rushing wind throughout Alaska bringing revival in individual hearts and in every church.

  • Let’s pray for the leadership of God’s Family to be filled up with the Holy Spirit.


Wednesday 22nd – Pray for the release, activation, maturity and operation of spiritual and leadership gifts upon the leaders and Christians in Alaska.


Ephesians 4:11-15

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and from and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the Head-Christ.”

  • Let's pray and ask God to reactivate the Body of Christ in Alaska. Every gift that is lying dormant, let it be reactivated in Jesus Name.

  • Let’s pray for impartation of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands to activate and reactivate spiritual gifts inside every believer and spiritual leader in Alaska.

  • As spiritual gifts are given, let's pray for every spiritual leader and believer to have the knowledge to operate the gifts and the maturity to use them for effective ministry and evangelism in Alaska.

  • Let’s pray that God would activate more leaders in God’s Family, that all would come to maturity and production in ministry.


Thursday 23rd - Pray that God would send more laborers into harvest-field of Alaska and for the growth and increase of all churches in Alaska.

Matt 9:35-38

“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. ‘Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”


1 Corinthians 3:5-7

“Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.”


Acts 2:40-47

“So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”

  • Let's pray for passion and compassion to develop in the heart of every believer for souls in the state of Alaska. Let's pray that the Holy Spirit would speak to the hearts of every believer in Alaska and they would respond to the call of evangelism and move with compassion for the lost and those that are hurting in Alaska.

  • Let’s pray. Pray that God would draw men and women of God from the lower 48, and across the world to the harvest field in Alaska.

  • Let's pray for the Holy Spirit to equip laborers within the churches of Alaska and around the world with needed resources for the reaping of the harvest field of Alaska.

  • Let’s pray that every church in Alaska will experience church growth and increase in membership.

  • Let’s pray that God would send more laborers to God’s Family


Friday 24th – Pray for unity among all Christians and churches in Alaska.


Mark 11:15-17

“Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.”


John 17:11

“Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.”


John 17:20-23

  • Prayer against Evil Spirits: Let's come against every spirit of division and schism in the churches that have caused distrust, disloyalty, corruption, and trauma in the hearts of believers and the splitting of churches.

  • Prayer for Unity: Psalm 133:1-3 Let's pray spirit of unity to be poured out upon every believer and church in Alaska. Let’s pray with the understanding that we all must come in one accord if we truly want to see revival in Alaska.

  • Prayer for Love. Philippians 2:1-4 Let's pray for every believer and church in Alaska to pursue unity within the church and among each other, show genuine love and care for one another, and seek for the interests of others.

  • Prayer for Strength: Heb 12:12-17 Let's pray for recovery of strength and spiritual vitality in all the men and women of God who have labored and are laboring to see revival come to Alaska.

  • Prayer for Personal/Corporate Revelation: Let’s pray that Christians and churches in Alaska would realize the enormity of the spiritual battle that lies ahead, the souls that lie in the balance, and what we can accomplish united rather than divided.

  • Prayer for God’s Family Missionary Movement: Let’s pray that God would bless the umbrella ministry of Revive Alaska Outreach, spiritually, physically and otherwise.


Saturday 25th – Pray for a renewed passion for soul winning and discipleship among Christians and churches.


2 Peter 3:8-9

“But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”


Matthew 28:18-20

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.”


  • Proverbs 11:30 Let's pray that every believer and church in Alaska would have a personal and corporate revival that would re-ignite their hearts to evangelize those within their sphere of influence.

  • Luke 15:3-7 Let's pray that every believer all over Alaska would feel deep compassion and obligation to win souls in Alaska and disciple those souls in order that they may grow and mature to disciple others.

  • Luke 14:25-33 Let's pray for a heart of discipleship to fall on the Christians in Alaska. Let's pray for the courage to take someone by the hand and show them how to live the true Christian life that leads to heaven.

  • Let’s pray for renewed passion to win souls upon every minister under God’s Family Missionary Movement.

3. Those weak in the faith - Rm 14:1-4

4. The whose minds are blinded - 2 Corinth 4:3-5
